Matherville Intermediate Library
The Matherville Intermediate School Library is committed to providing excellent service to students, staff and parents. Our primary goals are to:
- support curriculum with books and other information resources
- provide appropriate and interesting materials for the informational and reading needs of our students
- foster a lifelong love of reading in our students>

District Library Media Specialist
Jill Bennin has been teaching in the Sherrard School District since the 2000-2001 school year. Ms. Bennin enjoys working with students to find the books that are right for them.

General Information
Library Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00-10:05 a.m. and 12:45- 3:00 p.m.
Check out Procedures:
Students may check out 2-3 items at a time, including books and magazines. Items are checked out for a two- week period. Books may be renewed twice, depending upon the needs of other readers. Magazines cannot be renewed.
Lost/Damaged Book Policy:
Books only need to be paid for if lost or damaged beyond repair. All fees will be turned into the office. If a lost book is returned the fee will be erased. Once a book has been paid for, if the book is returned, the fee will be returned. The exceptions will be if a replacement copy has already been purchased, or if we are past the current fiscal year.
